Air France-KLM Group will seek to resume a full flight schedule this week and continue to pursue an agreement with its pilots, the majority of whom yesterday ended a strike that grounded about half the airline’s weekend service.

Flights will return to normal progressively starting Sept. 30, the airline said. While the largest pilots’ union, the SNPL, called off the strike, it has yet to agree to the airline’s proposal for how the expansion of low-cost unit Transavia will affect workers, the Paris-based company said yesterday. SPAF, a smaller pilots’ union, will continue to strike until it can discuss job-security proposals with management, it said an e-mailed statement.
