The charity that U.K. hostage Alan Henning was working for when he was kidnapped in Syria is being investigated for possible links to extremist fighters.

The Charity Commission watchdog has been monitoring Worcester, England, based Al-Fatiha Global since 2013 and started a full inquiry in March this year, a spokeswoman said yesterday. There is no indication that Henning was involved in any possible wrongdoing.
