Swedes vote today as polls show the largest Nordic economy could be left with a hung parliament amid rising support for the anti-immigration Sweden Democrats.

An exit poll by YouGov and Metro newspaper showed the Social Democratic-led opposition is backed by 44.9 percent of voters, versus 39.3 percent for the four-party government. The Sweden Democrats, with which neither bloc wants to cooperate because of its plans to drastically cut the number of immigrants, is poised to win 10.4 percent. Voting ends at 8 p.m. in Stockholm.
