The Sweden Democrats, which a week ago were poised to become kingmakers after the Nordic nation’s election, have started losing voters after revelations of racist online commentary from party members.

So far eight candidates for municipal seats have stepped down or let go after tabloid Expressen this week started revealing what they had been writing on anonymous online forums such as Avpixlat, according to the newspaper.
