Polish PM Candidate to Present New Government Next Week

Ewa Kopacz, who’s set to replace Donald Tusk as Poland’s prime minister, will present her new government next week.
Kopacz, parliament speaker and first deputy chairman of Tusk’s Civic Platform, said she’ll discuss cabinet appointments at a Sept. 12 meeting with President Bronislaw Komorowski. The president will name Kopacz as premier and confirm the government lineup by Sept. 22, according to his press office.
