Ray Rice’s wife defended her husband today, accusing the media of pushing the story to “gain ratings.”
Rice, 27, was cut yesterday by the Baltimore Ravens and suspended indefinitely by the National Football League, hours after website TMZ released a video of the Pro Bowl running back knocking out his then-fiancee unconscious in an elevator. Rice was previously suspended two games for his role in the altercation.
