Silva to Run for Brazil President, Boosting Odds of Second Round

Marina Silva will be named by the Brazilian Socialist Party to replace Eduardo Campos as its presidential candidate, increasing the likelihood the election will go to a second round.
“It’s decided. It will be Marina,” Senator Rodrigo Rollemberg, an executive member of the Brazilian Socialist Party, or PSB, said in an interview. Lawmaker Beto Albuquerque is favored to be her running mate, he said.
