Romanee-Conti ’90 Leads Heritage Auction With Lafite ’82

Domaine de la Romanee-Conti 1990 Burgundy and Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1982 Bordeaux led a $2.67 million wine sale by Heritage Auctions in California, with Chateau Mouton Rothschild also prominent in the bidding.
An 11-bottle assortment of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti 1990 fetched $39,650 at the June 13 sale in Beverly Hills, while a case of Lafite 1982 fetched $26,840, according to e-mailed results from Heritage.
