Twelve bottles of Romanee-Conti 2009 Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Burgundy sold for $155,350 at a Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. auction in Chicago, matching its estimate to take top slot at a sale raising $4.1 million.
Six bottles of the same grower’s 2008 wine fetched $65,725 while a 12-bottle 1990 Domaine de la Romanee-Conti assortment sold for $50,190, according to an e-mailed statement from Hart.
