A woman died and 14 people were injured after two bombs exploded in a passenger train that had just entered Chennai city’s main station in southern India.

The “minor intensity” blasts occurred onboard the Bangalore-Guwahati Express that had pulled into the Chennai Central Station at 7:15 a.m. yesterday, Southern Railway General Manager Rakesh Misra told reporters. A remote control was probably used to set off the blasts, according to a Home Ministry official, who asked not to be identified.
