Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff’s disapproval rating rose in a Vox Populi poll published today, confirming two separate surveys over the past month that showed faster inflation and slower growth eroding her support ahead of general elections in October.

Negative evaluation of Rousseff’s performance rose to 28 percent from 22 percent, according to a Vox Populi poll released today on the online edition of magazine Carta Capital. Her positive evaluation was 32 percent, compared with 34 percent in February, according to the poll of 2,200 voters that was conducted from April 6 to April 8. The margin of error is 2.1 percentage points.
