Ethanol Declines to Six-Week Low on Signs of More Imports

Ethanol futures fell to a six-week low in Chicago on speculation that higher prices in recent weeks prompted blenders to sign deals for imports.

The additive dropped 3.1 percent and is down 35 percent from a seven-year-high settlement on April 1, the day before a U.S. Energy Information Administration report showed foreign purchases for the first time since September.
