Venezuela’s Neighbors to Broker Peace After More Deaths

South American foreign ministers will travel to Venezuela early next month to try and broker a peaceful end to anti-government protests that have left at least 28 people dead.
The Union of South American Nations, or Unasur, voted yesterday to send a mission to promote dialog between President Nicolas Maduro and the opposition. Maduro had welcomed the Unasur visit, while the opposition said any talks on ending the monthlong protest should be mediated by outsiders.
