The World Bank reduced its forecast for gross domestic product growth for Rwanda as the economy struggles to recover from the temporary suspension of aid flows.

Expansion in the coffee-producing nation will probably reach 7.2 percent, the Washington-based lender said in a statement, lower than the 7.5 percent forecast in the World Bank’s twice-yearly Global Economic Prospects report this month. The bank lowered its estimate for last year’s growth rate to 6.6 percent from 7 percent, according to the statement.
