Medecins Sans Frontieres, a medical aid charity, said it will reduce operations at its airport base in Bangui, the capital of Central African Republic, following an outbreak of gun violence.

“Over the past two days, gun violence has occurred near a clinic” operated by the charity at Bangui M’Poko International Airport, the organization said in an e-mailed statement. “Two children were killed and 40 wounded people arrived at the clinic.”
