Japan Forms Team to Oversee Fukushima Decomission, Toxic Water

Japan’s government formed a team to oversee decommissioning and water contamination measures at the wrecked Fukushima nuclear power plant northeast of Tokyo.
The group will be headed by Trade Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, METI official Tatsuya Shinkawa said at a briefing in Tokyo today. Members of the team include Shunichi Tanaka, chairman of the Nuclear Regulation Authority and vice ministers of related ministries.
