Rebar Advances to Highest Since April as Chinese Stocks Rally

Steel reinforcement-bar futures in Shanghai rose to the highest in more than 11 weeks after China’s stocks had their biggest two-day rally in 18 months.

Rebar for delivery in January on the Shanghai Futures Exchange rose 0.2 percent to close at 3,646 yuan ($594) a metric ton today. Futures earlier touched 3,700 yuan, the highest since April 22 for a most-active contract.
