U.S. April Gasoline Use Fell From Year Earlier, API Says

U.S. gasoline consumption in April dropped to the lowest level for the month in 13 years, the American Petroleum Institute said.

Total deliveries of gasoline, a measure of demand, fell 3.9 percent from a year earlier to 8.47 million barrels a day, the industry-funded group said today in a reportBloomberg Terminal. Year-to-date consumption has averaged 8.38 million barrels a day, down 2.1 percent from the same period in 2012.
