HRT Jumps After Buying BP Oil-Field Stake in Brazil: Rio Mover

HRT Participacoes em Petroleo SA, the Brazilian startup exploring for oil and gas in the Amazon and Namibia, rose the most in more than a month after agreeing to buy its first crude-producing asset from BP Plc.
HRT rose 7.2 percent to 4.19 reais at 12:07 p.m. in Sao Paulo after surging as much as 11 percent, the most intraday since April 4. The benchmark Ibovespa index fell 0.9 percent.
