Chubu Electric to Receive Spot LNG From Peru at Kawagoe Terminal

Japan’s Chubu Electric Power Co. will receive a spot cargo of liquefied natural gas from Peru today, according to ship-tracking data.
The Castillo De Santisteban, with a capacity of 173,673 cubic meters, is scheduled to arrive at Chubu Electric’s Kawagoe terminal in central Japan, according to ship transmissions captured by IHS Fairplay on Bloomberg. The ship sailed from Peru LNG’s terminal at Pampa Melchorita, where it loaded its cargo and departed April 2.
