The Port Authority Police Department’s Emergency Services Unit and the New York City Police Department’s bomb squad are responding to the scene, said Port Authority of New York and New Jersey spokesman Steve Coleman.

April 16 (Bloomberg) --The central terminal building at LaGuardia Airport in New York City was evacuated due to a suspicious package, Steve Coleman, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, said today in an e-mail.

The Port Authority Police Department’s Emergency Services Unit and the New York City Police Department’s bomb squad are responding to the scene, said Coleman, who could provide no further immediate details.
