The euro rose against the yen after the International Monetary Fund said it had reached a staff-level agreement to contribute about one billion euros to Cyprus.

The euro rose 0.3 percent to 120.09 yen at 10:11 a.m. London time. It gained 0.1 percent to $1.2826.
