Turkey Receives Spot LNG Cargo From Yemen at Aliaga Port

Turkey’s port of Aliaga is receiving a spot cargo of liquefied natural gas from Yemen, according to ship-tracking data.

The BW GDF Suez (GSZ) Paris, with a capacity of 162,524 cubic meters, arrived March 9 at Aliaga where Turkey’s EgeGaz LNG has a LNG regasification terminal.

The tanker sailed from Yemen’s Balhaf LNG terminal where it loaded its cargo and departed Feb. 26, according to ship transmissions captured by IHS Inc. (IHS) on Bloomberg.

Turkey’s Botas International Ltd. has LNG supply contracts with Nigeria and Algeria, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
