Michael McGlone, senior director of commodity indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices, a joint venture of CME Group Inc. and The McGraw-Hill Cos., left the company.
McGlone was let go yesterday, he said by phone today. David Guarino, a spokesman for S&P Dow Jones Indices in New York, confirmed that McGlone has left the company.
McGlone, 48, worked at S&P for five years, helping to manage and develop new indices at one point and another calculating the annual rebalancing. S&P Indices merged with Dow Jones Indexes in July last year.
