Pound Stays Lower Versus Dollar, Euro After U.K. Inflation Data

The pound stayed lower against the dollar and the euro after a report showed U.K. inflation held at the highest rate since May last month.

Britain’s currency was 0.4 percent lower at $1.5600 at 9:33 a.m. London time. It fell 0.4 percent to 85.92 pence per euro.
