The pound erased an advance versus the dollar to trade little changed at $1.5795 as of 11:06 a.m. London time, after strengthening as much as 0.3 percent to $1.5842.
Sterling was 0.1 percent stronger at 85.81 pence per euro, after appreciating 0.3 percent to 85.59 pence.
