EIB Lends 27 Million Euros to Romanian Bucharest Municipality

The European Investment Bank is lending 27 million euros ($34 million) to Romania’s Bucharest municipality for the thermal rehabilitation of residential buildings, the bank said in an e-mailed statement today.

The loan will help reduce the energy consumption of 94 buildings by about 50 percent in the District 4, according to the statement.
