Greece Will Auction 2 Million Spot Carbon Permits in November

Greece will sell 2 million spot European Union carbon permits for Phase 2 of the bloc’s emissions trading system in November, according to the Hellenic Exchanges Group.
The sales will take place on Nov. 7, Nov. 14, Nov. 21 and Nov. 28, according to an e-mailed statement. The country has sold 14.5 million permits since it began auctions in June 2011, according to sales data compiled by Bloomberg.
