Iraq Minister Says Gazprom Neft Freezes Kurdish Deals, IOD Says

Gazprom Neft, the oil arm of Russian state-run gas producer Gazprom, has halted work on production- sharing agreements in northern Iraq’s Kurdistan region, International Oil Daily reported, citing Iraqi Oil Minister Abdul Kareem Al-Luaibi in Moscow.
Gazprom told Iraq in a letter that the contract with Kurdistan was frozen, IOD said, citing Al-Luaibi.
Gazprom Neft spokeswoman Ekaterina Stenyakina declined to comment when contacted by Bloomberg.
