Turkish Sugar Company Fire in Ankara Forces Evacuation of Staff

Staff were evacuated from the headquarters of Turkey’s state-owned sugar company, Turkiye Seker Fabrikalari AS, after a fire broke out, the Anatolia news agency said.
The fire, described as minor, started in a cafeteria on the top floor of the building in Ankara today, the state-run agency said. Some kitchen personnel suffered smoke inhalation, it said.
