Spanish 10-year bonds extended their decline, falling for a third day and pushing the yield on the securities to 6 percent.

The rate climbed 22 basis points, or 0.22 percentage point, to 6.00 percent as of 3:01 p.m. London time, the highest level since Sept. 7.
