Greece to List Cuts of $14.6 Billion Next Month, Real News Says

Greece will finish identifying spending cuts totaling 11.7 billion euros ($14.6 billion) at the beginning of September, Real News said, citing the government spokesman, Simeon Kedikoglou.
Action will be taken against lawmakers from parties supporting the government who don’t vote for the cuts, the Athens-based newspaper cited Kedikoglou as saying in a preview of an interview to be published in tomorrow’s edition. No details were given of possible sanctions against such lawmakers.
