Romania Plans to Sell 15% Holding in Energy Company Oltenia

Romania plans to sell a minority stake in a newly formed energy company, Complexul Energetic Oltenia SA to boost its capital, the country’s economy ministry said today.
Romania, which formed Oltenia by merging three state-owned thermal power plants and coal mines, will seek to sell a 15 percent stake on the stock exchange to support its investment plans, according to an e-mailed statement today.
