Eloqua Rises in Trading Debut After Pricing IPO Top of Range

Eloqua Inc., the maker of software used by companies including American Express Co., rose 12 percent in its debut after raising $92 million pricing its U.S. initial public offering at the top of the proposed range.
The stock advanced to $12.89 after earlier rising as high as $13.93. Vienna, Virginia-based Eloqua and existing stockholders sold 8 million shares for $11.50 each, the equivalent of a 25 percent stake. They had offered the shares for $9.50 to $11.50.
