Cyclist Hoy Flag Bearer for Britain at 2012 Opening Ceremony

Chris Hoy, the most successful Olympic male cyclist of all time, will be carrying the British flag at the opening ceremony of the London Olympics.

The 36-year-old Hoy, who has won four gold medals, will mark his fourth Olympics by leading the British team into the Olympic Stadium on July 27, Team GB said in an emailed statement today. He’s the first cyclist to do so.
