Saudis Shortlist Gulf Air, Qatar Air for License, Eqtisadia Says

Saudi air regulator shortlisted Bahrain’s Gulf Air and Qatar Airways among seven bidders for a license to operate domestic flights in the Kingdom, Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing sources it didn’t name.
The list of the seven bidders includes Bahrain Air and China’s Hainan Airlines, the Saudi newspaper said. The Saudi regulator will announce the winners of the license in October, the newspaper said.
