Canada’s Pure Energies Purchases One Block to Expand Into U.S.

Pure Energies Inc., a Toronto-based designer and installer of residential solar systems, purchased closely held One Block Off The Grid to expand into the U.S. market.

One Block, based in San Francisco, aggregates customers within neighborhoods in 40 states to negotiate better prices with solar-panel suppliers and installers, according to its website.
