The Jakarta Composite index fell 0.9 percent to 3,958.81.
Energy companies: Crude oil futures advanced to the highest level in more than nine months, gaining 1.5% to $107.83 a barrel in New York yesterday. Oil was last at $108.59 a barrel.
PT Medco Energi Internasional (MEDC) , Indonesia’s biggest listed oil company, fell 1.1 percent to 2,300 rupiah and PT Energi Mega Persada (ENRG) , the second largest, climbed 0.5 percent to 195 rupiah.
PT Astra Otoparts (AUTO) : Net income in 2011 slid to 1.01 trillion rupiah ($111 million) from 1.14 trillion rupiah a year earlier, the car and motorcycle parts maker said in a statement published in Bisnis Indonesia. Astra Otoparts gained 0.7 percent to 3,450 rupiah.
PT Bakrie Telecom (BTEL) : The mobile-phone operator is seeking at least 650 billion rupiah of loans to refinance debt that will mature in September, Bisnis Indonesia reported, citing Finance Director Jastiro Abi. Bakrie Telecom was unchanged at 275 rupiah.
PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa (INTP) : The company’s 2011 revenue may be more than 10 trillion rupiah as sales increased since the third quarter, Bisnis Indonesia reported, citing Corporate Secretary Sahat Panggabean. Indocement, the nation’s second-biggest cement maker, posted sales of 11.1 trillion rupiah in 2010, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. The stock fell 0.3 percent to 17,050 rupiah.
