Indonesia Stock Movers: Aneka Tambang, Bank CIMB Niaga, Timah

Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are as of 10:42 a.m. in Jakarta.

The Jakarta Composite index slid 0.4 percent to 3,988.66, set for the first decline in four days.

Metal producers: PT Aneka Tambang (ANTM) , Indonesia’s second-biggest nickel producer, rose 1 percent to 2,000 rupiah. PT Timah (TINS) , the largest tin maker, gained 1.5 percent to 2,000 rupiah. Nickel futures rose 2.4 percent to $20,230 a metric ton in London yesterday while tin increased 2.9 percent to $24,190 a ton.

PT Bank CIMB Niaga (BNGA) , the Indonesian unit of Malaysia’s CIMB Group Holdings Bhd., climbed 0.9 percent to 1,170 rupiah. CIMB Niaga said 2011 net income rose 28 percent from a year earlier to 3.2 trillion rupiah ($353 million).
