British Columbia to Beat Deficit Goal, Finance Chief Says

British Columbia’s budget deficit will narrow faster than forecast as the Canadian province returns to surplus in the next two years, Finance Minister Kevin Falcon said.

Canada’s third-most populous province is starting to benefit from signs of economic recovery in the U.S., the destination for about half its exports, Falcon said in an interview in Victoria, British Columbia’s capital.
