Nelson Mandela’s Image to Be on New South African Banknotes

Feb. 11 (Bloomberg) -- South Africa’s President Jacob Zumasaid new banknotes in the country will bear the image of formerpresident Nelson Mandela.

Zuma made the announcement in Pretoria today on the 22ndanniversary of the release from prison of the Nobel Laureate wholed the country out of apartheid to become its first blackpresident in 1994.
