Italy Credit Rating Cut Two Levels to BBB+ by S&P, Official Says

Italy’s credit rating was cut two levels by Standard & Poor’s, a European Union official said.

S&P cut Italy BBB+ from A, said the official who declined to be identified because the decision is not yet public.
