Wuhan Iron & Steel Co.’s unit in Liberia may start shipments of iron ore from its mine in the West African nation as soon as next year, the Analyst reported.
China Union Liberia has completed geological surveys of the Bong Mines area and aims to start operations in 2012, the Monrovia-based newspaper said, citing Chief Engineer Xiong Subo.
