Singapore’s Economic Development Board and national water agency PUB will install a 2-megawatt floating photovoltaic pilot project at Tengeh Reservoir, the EDB said today in a statement.

The S$11 million project will assess the feasibility of installing a floating solar PV system on water, as an alternative to rooftops. The EDB and PUB will examine the cost effectiveness of these floating PV systems with private companies, EDB said.
