Palestinians Seek International Opposition to Building Plan

Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erakat called for international backing to oppose Israeli plans to build 2,000 homes in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.
Erakat also objected to plans that Israel is considering to withhold tax revenue collected on behalf of the Palestinian Authority, a response to the campaign for Palestinian statehood at the United Nations and membership of its agencies.
