Austerity ‘Isn’t in My Vocabulary,’ Berlusconi Tells Il Foglio

Italy is committed to growth and development, Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi wrote in a letter to Il Foglio newspaper.

Berlusconi also said in the letter published today that he was committed to more effective competition rules, social mobility and not to depressing the economy. The word austerity "isn’t in my vocabulary," he wrote in the newspaper.
