Slovenia Cut to AA-/A-1+ by S&P on Fiscal Position

Slovenia had its long-term sovereign credit ratings cut by Standard & Poor’s, which cited the nation’s deteriorating fiscal position.

The ratings on the Alpine nation were reduced to AA- from AA and the outlook is stable, S&P said in a statement. The AA-level is the fourth-highest ranking. The A-1+ short-term ratings were affirmed.
