Oct. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Republicans say they want to “repealand replace” the health-care law President Barack Obama signedlast year, but they are a lot more specific about the first halfthan the second. Representative Paul Ryan wants to bring somebalance to the slogan.
In a Sept. 27 speech to the Hoover Institution at StanfordUniversity, the Republican chairman of the House BudgetCommittee supplied an Obamacare alternative of his own. Ryan hasthe right diagnosis of what’s wrong with federal health-carepolicy, and the right prescription, too. He just needs to adjustthe dosage.
