Jefferies Said to Hire Fetzer to Advise on Industrial Companies

Jefferies Group Inc. hired Thomas Fetzer, a UBS AG managing director in London, to advise European industrial equipment companies, said two people familiar with the matter.

Fetzer, who joined Jefferies this week, will be based in Frankfurt, said one of the people, who declined to be identified because the information isn’t public. Tom Tarrant, a spokesman for Jefferies in New York, declined to comment, as did Richard Morton, a spokesman for UBS in London.
