Sharks Send Dany Heatley to Wild for Martin Havlat in NHL Swap

The San Jose Sharks traded Dany Heatley, who leads the National Hockey League with 58 game-winning goals since entering the league in 2001, to the Minnesota Wild for Martin Havlat in a swap of right wingers.

Heatley, 30, recorded 26 goals and 38 assists in 80 games for the Sharks last season. The second overall pick in the 2000 NHL draft, Heatley has 325 goals and 364 assists in 669 career games over nine seasons.
